The three types of EDM machine tools are forming discharge machining, wire EDM and EDM small hole processing. The main advantages of EDM are its excellent surface finish quality, minimal heat-affected zone, and the ability to cut sclerosing material and superalloy,which makes it an ideal choice for the processing of specific holes.
